Impromptu walk through Georgetown in Washington, DC. The neighborhood-wide international art installation, Georgetown Glow, is still in full swing through January 1. Here are my photos of the "Resonant Stacks" by Ulr Studio & Sho Architecture. The first one makes me think of time-travel by Tardis and the second one I was going for a mysterious, futuristic Blade Runner-feel.
Yesterday I spent the afternoon at the U.S. Botanic Gardens in Washington, DC. The Christmas decorations are up and there is a hall dedicated to poinsettias. I never realized there were so many different varieties of leaf shape, size, and color. My favorites were the pink poinsettias called "Luv You Pink."
